HypeUp sells advertising: promotional placement for creators on a public showcase, ordered by campaign budget. A hype is a purchase of advertising and promotional placement for a creator's campaign; the placement purchased lasts for as long as the campaign's budget determines it. It is not an investment, a donation to the creator, or an endorsement by the creator or by us.

HypeUp is not an online game, online money game, e-sport or online social game within the meaning of the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Act, 2025. Placement on HypeUp is paid advertising and is labelled as such.

Hypes may be paid in US dollars or, where offered, Indian rupees. A rupee payment buys the stated US-dollar amount of promotion at the rupee price shown at checkout, which is set from a daily exchange rate plus a conversion margin; that dollar amount is what counts toward the campaign budget.

Minimum hype: $1 USD; minimum to start a new campaign: $5; maximum $999,999 per hype. Whole dollars only. All hypes are final. If two payments complete at the same time, both charges stand and placement is resolved under the ordering rules in the advertising policy.

Ad Credits are prepaid advertising credit: non-transferable, non-withdrawable, usable only to purchase hypes on the site, with no cash value; they never expire. We may freeze credits tied to a disputed or fraudulent purchase.

Anyone may sponsor a campaign for a creator they do not control. A creator's link stays locked to their public profile until they verify their profile. Listed creators may opt out (see /opt-out).

We may hide, remove or recategorise campaigns, pause checkout, or ban payers for policy violations. Chargebacks: a disputed hype is removed from the campaign budget while the dispute is open; if the dispute is lost the payer may be banned from hyping.

We are not affiliated with Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, Twitch or any other platform. Trademarks belong to their owners.

We don't guarantee traffic, clicks or any outcome for a creator. Liability is limited to the amount you paid in the prior 12 months. The service is provided as-is. You must be 18+ to pay.
